The Assistant Director, Communications focuses on Social Media & Graphic Design and supports Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s mission by helping to manage the league’s social media presence and by creating inclusive, on-brand visual content. This role collaborates closely with the Communications Director to increase visibility, celebrate community engagement, and ensure consistency in the league’s digital presence.
Social Media Management: Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Threads.
Graphic Design & Branding: Design visuals for seasons, events, announcements, and other board needs. Assist in developing the visual identity of Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia.
Content Collaboration: Partner with sport directors, events leads, and other board members to support their digital content needs.
Membership Engagement: Coordinate with members and content creators to source visuals for posts and campaigns. Curate member posts.
Collaborate with the Communications Director to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity including standards for board members and templates for use.
Attend and assist with live coverage of events when possible (e.g., capturing photos or posting in real-time).
Support planning and execution of promotional strategies for registration, fundraisers, and tournaments.
Help analyze performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement) to inform future content strategy.
Proficiency in design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Strong eye for visual storytelling, layout, and accessibility.
Familiarity with Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s mission and community.
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities.
Attend monthly board meetings upon request and provide updates on social media and design projects.
Dedicate approximately 3–5 hours per week to content creation, design, and social media tasks.
You’re a creative communicator with a strong eye for design and storytelling. You have experience working with brands and know how to use social media to celebrate people, grow visibility, and build engagement. You’re comfortable designing graphics, managing content calendars, and collaborating with others to keep messaging consistent and on-brand. The Assistant Director of Dodgeball supports the coordination of dodgeball operations. The Assistant Director of Dodgeball will support court set-up and take down, assist with managing communications, and act as primary point of contact if the Director is occupied.
Overview
Assist in organizing, scheduling, facilitating, and managing dodgeball operations, including Remix and WTNB seasons/leagues.
Ensure scoring is maintained during the season, maintain inventory, and log all injuries.
Be fully knowledgeable of dodgeball rules and regulations.
Key responsibilities
Assist with drafting communications to captains and players, such as weekly email updates.
Assist with managing the captain’s group chat.
Assist with set-up or take down of courts.
Assist with updating dodgeball rules and regulations.
Assist with recruiting, selecting, training, and supporting League Managers.
Assist with scheduling matches and referees.
Assist with tracking inventory of equipment.
Other tasks as assigned.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.

Experience as a player in dodgeball.

The Assistant Director, Sponsorship Operations supports the Sponsorship Director by managing the execution, tracking, and logistical components of the sponsorship program. This role ensures that sponsor commitments are fulfilled and documented accurately, and that all sponsorship activities align with league standards and timelines.
Support the efficient execution and documentation of sponsor deliverables.
Track sponsor deliverables and ensure timely execution (e.g., social media posts, event signage, merchandise placement).
Maintain an up-to-date sponsorship tracker with contract status, payment received, deliverables fulfilled, and outstanding items.
Work with the Finance Director to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing for sponsors.
Coordinate with the Marketing team to schedule and monitor social media content featuring sponsors.
Assist with organizing and maintaining digital records of contracts and sponsorship-related documents.
Support logistics for sponsor presence at events (e.g., table setup, banners, swag).
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Attention to detail and comfort with administrative tasks and tracking systems.
Familiarity with Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s mission and vision.
Experience with spreadsheets, digital signing platforms, Google Workspace, or Airtable is preferred.
Sports roles: Experience as a player or volunteer in a Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia league.
Attend monthly board meetings upon request and provide updates on sponsorship tracking and fulfillment.
Dedicate approximately 3-5 hours per week to position-related tasks, with some periods of increased activity during sponsor onboarding and event execution.
You’re organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at keeping projects on track. With experience working in or alongside nonprofits, you understand the value of partnerships and accurate documentation. You have ideas on how to elevate the sponsor experience. You’re comfortable with spreadsheets, trackers, and coordinating across teams, and you take pride in making sure commitments are fulfilled. The Bocce Coordinator supports Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia’s mission by being present or on call during scheduled bocce events, being fully knowledgeable of all Stonewall Sport-Philadelphia bocce rules and assisting with relations liaison between players and the Board to support the member experience.
Assist in facilitating, managing, and scheduling bocce games and events.
Ensure scorekeeping is maintained during the season, maintain equipment inventory, and log all injuries.
Be fully knowledgeable of bocce rules and regulations.
Support various bocce seasons to ensure smooth operations.
Serve as the point person/league management liaison for any specialized bocce seasons as assigned.
Feedback & Collaboration
Gather input from members, teams, and captains to continually improve bocce programming.
Prior experience with bocce, especially Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia Bocce.
Experience with email platforms (Gmail, Mailchimp) and G-Suite (Sheets and Docs).
Familiarity with Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s mission and values.
Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
Attend monthly board meetings upon request and provide updates on current seasons.
Attend the majority of bocce games in all seasons and all End of Season Tournaments.
Help run one or more bocce seasons per year with assistance.
