The Community Outreach Director serves as a member of the Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia Board for a 2 year term with the opportunity to continue the role for additional terms. This role is responsible for building relationships within the Philadelphia community.
Working closely with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director and Communication Director to facilitate successful community outreach
Building relationships with Stonewall Sports charity partners to establish a reciprocal relationship and promote an understanding of our work as an organization
Fostering outreach and communication efforts with the Mayor's Office of LGBT Affairs and Philly Pride Presents
Coordinating and planning Stonewall Sports involvement in Philadelphia Pride, Philadelphia Black Pride, Outfest, the Trans Wellness Conference, and any other LGBTQIA+ community events where Stonewall can have a presence
Identifying opportunities for Stonewall members to engage with and volunteer with partner organizations and at events
Recruiting members of the Stonewall community to participate in community events
Serving as a representative of Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia at LGBTQIA+ community events and forums
Serving as the point of contact for nonprofits and community organizations looking to collaborate with Stonewall and shepherding them to a successful working relationships with relevant members of the Board

Attend monthly Board Meetings typically on Tuesday or Wednesday night from 7:30-9:30.
Participate in additional meetings and calls as needed between scheduled Board Meetings.
Support Stonewall social events, leagues, communication efforts, charities, and sponsors as able or requested to throughout the year.
Commit 2-10 hours a week to Stonewall Sports activities depending on time of year.

Begin planning the spring 2026 pickleball league with the League Operations Director.
The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Access (DEIA) serves as a member of the Stonewall Sports – Philadelphia Board for a 2-year term with the possibility to continue the role for additional terms. This role is responsible for overseeing the DEIA Committee and managing the organization’s initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access.
Overseeing and supporting the DEIA Committee, composed of 5 to 7 active members of the Stonewall Sports – Philadelphia community, tasked with leading initiatives to enhance organizational diversity and ensure a truly inclusive organizational culture.
Working with the Board and Governance Committee to review and draft community standards as needed to ensure all members of the Stonewall community are united in efforts to create an inclusive organizational culture.
Identifying opportunities to bring programming and training around organizational diversity and diversity within LGBTQIA+ communities to organizational leadership and the greater Stonewall community.
Leading outreach to underrepresented populations within the Stonewall community.
Identifying and recommending improvements to organizational outreach to connect with populations in the greater Philadelphia LGBTQIA+ communities who are underrepresented in Stonewall.
Providing support, in collaboration with the Member Experience Director, for members within Stonewall facing challenges related to diversity, inclusion, and access and ensuring that their concerns are heard by and addressed by the Board.
Supporting the development of resources to support the Stonewall community.
Working closely with the Community Outreach and Events Directors in planning and aligning the work of Stonewall committees.

The Director of Pickleball serves as a member of the Stonewall Sports – Philadelphia board for a 2-year term with the possibility to continue the role for additional terms. This role is responsible for overseeing pickleball operations.
Be present during all scheduled pickleball matches and all events associated with the league including captains’ calls, shirt pickup, free agent mixers, tournaments, end-of-season awards, etc.
Lead operations during all pickleball matches including venue setup and take down, game schedules, ref assignments, and recording scores.
Work alongside the League Operations Director to plan the structure of pickleball seasons.
Work alongside the League Operations Director to develop the weekly schedule for pickleball matches including team and ref schedules.
Work with the League Operations and Communications Directors to develop and send weekly league emails.
Update and maintain scores, rankings, and season data for the league on appropriate platforms.
Inventory and maintain all pickleball supplies.
Recruit and lead pickleball league management team.
Be fully knowledgeable of all pickleball rules and work with the League Operations Director to update the local rules document as needed.
Work with the League Operations Director to seek opportunities, develop, and maintain relations with pickleball venues.
Create a welcoming, engaging, and supportive space at all pickleball matches and events.

Begin planning the spring 2026 kickball league with the League Operations Director.
The Events & Gaming Director serves as a member of the Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia Board for a 2 year term with the opportunity to continue the role for additional terms. This role is responsible for overseeing the work of the Events & Gaming Committee and leading the planning and implementation of Stonewall events which includes:
Supporting and directing the Events & Gaming Committee, a team of active members of the Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia community comprised of 3-4 Events Committee members
Leading the planning and implementation of Stonewall Sport’s events including the Ball, Pride Nights with local sports teams, and socials with other organizations
Maintain the organization’s events calendar in collaboration with the League Operations Director
Oversee the management of the Trivia program, including
Selecting Trivia Hosts
Ensuring season schedules are set and communicated
Occasionally guest hosting Trivia if a regular host is unavailable
Note that as Events & Gaming Director you are not eligible to be a regular trivia host or be compensated for guest hosting.
Collaborating and consulting with the Communications Director, Sponsorship & Fundraising Director, and Finance Director to ensure effective event implementation
Improving event attendance, inclusivity, and engagement by members of the Stonewall community and greater Philadelphia community through planning and marketing
Working closely with the Diversity & Inclusion Director and Education Director in planning and aligning the work of Stonewall committees
Building on existing and establishing new partnerships to improve events
Exploring opportunities to expand Stonewall Sports social offerings to increase partnerships with local charities and organize events that center on non-drinking focused activities

This role is perfect for a member of the Stonewall Community who is passionate about events & gaming and is looking forward to being a leader while continuing and expanding our offerings in this area. You’re a motivated self starter who is comfortable working in a team environment and managing the efforts of other contributors. Ideally you have some experience coordinating large scale events but that’s not a deal breaker!
In your first month you will:

Begin planning the spring 2026 pickleball league with the League Operations Director.
To lead the planning and execution of Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s participation in the Stonewall Sports National Tournament including events, promotion, fundraising, and player experience coordination.
Committee Leadership: Recruit and chair the Tournament Outreach Committee consisting of captains and players attending the National Tournament.
Event Planning & Fundraising: Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to support participation in the National Tournament and coordinate a send-off event for the Tournament participants.
Coordinate Participation: Connect captains, be a resource for interested players, and ensure clear and timely communication with both during the registration processes.
Board Collaboration: Partner with the Finance Director to manage resources and ensure transparency, meet regularly with officers/Board Members to report on progress.
Communications Coordination: Collaborate with the communications team to share photos, highlights, and testimonials on social media to celebrate and promote local participation.
Post-Event Reporting & Promotion: Submit a post-event report to the board summarizing key outcomes and highlights, player feedback and experiences, accounting and fundraising results, and recommendations for future improvements.

Serve in the role for at least one full calendar year.
Commit 1 to 3 hours a week to Stonewall activities, depending on the time of year.

Represent Stonewall Sports – Philadelphia through tabling at community events such as Pride, OurFest, and others as organized by the board.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Position Summary
The Bocce Coordinator supports Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia’s mission by being present or on call during scheduled bocce events, being fully knowledgeable of all Stonewall Sport-Philadelphia bocce rules and assisting with relations liaison between players and the Board to support the member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in facilitating, managing, and scheduling bocce games and events.
Ensure scorekeeping is maintained during the season, maintain equipment inventory, and log all injuries.
Be fully knowledgeable of bocce rules and regulations.
Broader League Support
Support various bocce seasons to ensure smooth operations.
Serve as the point person/league management liaison for any specialized bocce seasons as assigned.
Feedback & Collaboration
Gather input from members, teams, and captains to continually improve bocce programming.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with bocce, especially Stonewall Sports-Philadelphia Bocce.
Experience with email platforms (Gmail, Mailchimp) and G-Suite (Sheets and Docs).
Familiarity with Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia’s mission and values.
Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
Expectations
Attend monthly board meetings upon request and provide updates on current seasons.
Attend the majority of bocce games in all seasons and all End of Season Tournaments.
Help run one or more bocce seasons per year with assistance.
